Egg Genie

URL: www.buyegggenie.com/
Does it work? Yes

I love these type of products; creating a problem and solving it. Boiling eggs isn't all that hard, yet a this appliance solves the hassle of cooking eggs.

There are a couple of tricks to using this device; making a small pin hole in an egg can be difficult. The amount of water in the bottom is important, get it wrong and you have a bit of mess and clean-up. Other than those items, it is easy as boiling water.

Palm Pre in March?
Information Week makes a good point, that they will try to clear out inventory before then. (Like Treo 755p)

The New Palm "Pre"

It's been an exciting CES. The latest information about the New Palm Pre

Barron's gave the PALM Pre a good review, liking the "Palm webOS".
A detail analysis of the current cash flow. Interesting they believe it would take 2 million units for them to break even.

My thoughts on Nova

I believe the Palm OS still has some life.

It does some things that no other smart phone / pda platform does. Integrate with the desktop flawlessly. It never duplicates entries or override items by accident. It is easy to backup and is very lightweight. (My complete address book, calender, and notes are less than 1mb)

Even the most comfortable smart phone is not match for a regular keyboard for data entry.

I realize it is not for everyone, but for this dude - Palm wins.

Centro Resources

Palm's official Centro website
http://www.palm.com/us/products/smartphones/centro/

For the Treo but has some useful links anyway
http://www.everythingtreo.com/

Covers & Accessories
http://www.elitextreme.com/centro.html
http://www.centroaccessories.com/
http://software.palminfocenter.com/homeAccessories.asp?hCategory=1005

Covers on Amazon (Good selection of price and quality)
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=centro+covers&x=0&y=0

Why I love the Centro

1. Integration with the Palm Desktop
The seamless integration with the desktop to enter and view information one of the biggest benefits.

2. Small size, great size
One of the smallest smart phones with a full keyboard. Having a full keyboard makes data entry possible and feasible. The touchscreen is a nice 'touch' also.

3. Simple is good
One of the best things about Palm is how simple it is. Just tasks, notes, calendar, and contacts. Doesn't try do to much.
